Reflections on week 1!

1. I think me working and also doing a sport is  definitely going to affect my experience in this class. I get really busy an I end up being more tired than I realize, then that contributes to me doing homework and falling asleep in class. But I hope to overcome those obsticols and get a more than  excellent grade in this class.
2. The best learning experience that changed me was reading "A long way Gone" in my sophomore English class for a literature analysis. I learned a lot about the rebels in Africa and how they come and terrorize innocent cities and take over completely. I had a group of 3 other students that read it with me but I don't believe they got into it as much as I. It taught me that I learned a lot better when it's something that I think is interesting. I knew I was learning because I never read anything and I read that book any time I got a chance cover to cover.
3. I'm excited about the way Dr. Preston thinks, he has a very Diffrent mind set then other teachers. I'm concerned about the work load but I'm more then capable of adjusting . I look forward to self teaching . I think it will make a big difference in my life because for once a teachers not threatening everyone to do there homework or else there's going I be a consequence.
