Character study 1

i wish i could get some sleep. there isn't a minute that goes by when i don't hear a car honking or my roommate snoring. i had always wanted to live in a big city "the city of dreams" is what they all call it. and don't get me wrong its amazing, but it would be nice to have uninterrupted sleep once in a blue moon. back to sleep, i wake up at the sound of kendrick Lamars voice , 6 a.m, iv got five minutes to get out of my room or im late for the third day in a row. cant be late. i brush my teeth and throw on some sweats not even thinking to do my hair. maybe i should stop all the late nights out at the club. i get to class right on time, the teacher starts in on the days lecture, i cant stand this class. especially because i always end up having to sit next to a guy who reeks of bad cologne that smells like dark cherries took a turn for the worst. its okay two hours and im out then i can go back to bed. wishful thinking. too bad i have two essays to write and a 278 page book i have to read all by tomorrow, its going to be an amazing day i can feel it.

My dashboard

i personally didn't feel the need to sign up for the Netvibe website. my opinion of it is yes it seems to make life a little easier with everything that you need all right there for you to see but i find it to be even more of a distraction. i get off task very easily so to see everything that's going on i would never get anything done. im the type of person where i need to completely shut down my social media to focus and to concentrate. thanks for the suggestion though its fun to see new things!

  • most photographers keep their photos on the internet
  • photos aren't really rectangular or square, they make them that way for convenience
  • are we locked down by our habits
  • "the mode of delivery has shaped the way we perceive the mode of information"
  • the mode of info is photography
  • "we travel looking in a rear view mirror"
  • a photograph is bounded by the edges of a frame
  • Photos are all in
  • Difference between "images" and "photographs
  • photographers need a passion

Characterization

Characterization of the Knight

The author uses both direct and indirect characterization throughout the tale. An example of indirect characterization was when the author shows that the knight is a leader when he takes on the roll to tell the first story. An example of direct characterization is when the narrator states "...with wonderful agility and strength." Chaucer uses direct characterization but relies on indirect  to characterize the knight's personality.

Chaucer displays a large and diverse range of attitude towards life. The tales are satirical and comical. Another tone is also very admiring towards the knight.

Humor: The plot thickens through the use of irony when the good knight dies. He was given his freedom to go off on his own and pursue anything, yet he comes back for a girl which ultimately leads him to death.

Master piece in progress

Honestly it wasent hard for me to figure out what I wanted to do for my masterpiece because it's something I have always thought of doing. I love working with the homeless, so naturally iv always wanted to do a documentury on homeless people and how they became homeless. It's something I think we all wonder. Why not get the answers

Another big question for you

I feel as if this year i came into high school with a bit of an attitude. Why. Why ? Why because I feel as if my past three years of high school have been waisted doing homework and listening to lectures that are going to do nothing for me in the next five years . Lectures I really don't care about. So another big question why doesn't school teach things in life that people are going to need to know? Why do we spend four years of our life competing for grades and stressing out about shit that no one is really going to remember .

Will study for food

I found a scholarship on doSomething.org. It's a really simple scholarship and all it requires is for you to get a little crafty. What you do is take something your good at and put "I'm a boss" in front of it. Hence the reason why it's called the I'm a boss scholarship. For example I would put I'm a boss at dressing exoticly. Because that's something I love and I feel that I do different than everyone else. I would need the 2,500 for room and board for college and I would hope to earn the full 2,500.
